Manuel Dias Teixeira "O Bom Ouro"

Manuel Dias' father was Cap. Baltazar Dias Teixeira and his mother was Mécia Álvares.  His paternal grandparents were João Dias Homem and Suzana Gonçalves Teixeira; his maternal grandfather was Nuno Álvares Lopes. He had two brothers and four sisters, named João Dias, Nuno Álvares, Leonor Lourenço, Margarida Dias, Maria and Maria Roque. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Amaro Teixeira, Domingos Dias, Melchior Lourenço, Isabel Teixeira, Catarina Dias and Suzana Gonçalves.
