Aparicio was born on August 16th, 1856 in Santa Clara, Treinta Y Tres, Uruguay.  Aparicio's father was Francisco ("Chico") Saraiva Caäneda and his mother was Propicia "Pulpicia" Da Rosa.  His paternal grandparents were Francisco Do Amaral Saraiva De Jesus and Maria Angelica (Da Costa) Pereira; his maternal grandfather was Da Rosa. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Gumersindo, Basilicio, Antonio Floricio ("Chiquito"), Jose, Camilo, Francisco Propicio, Mariano, Timoteo, Juana, Amelia and Sensata.  He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Enrique "Pichinango", Gilberto, Manuel Maria, Teresa and Braulia.  He died at the age of 48 on September 10th, 1904 in Masoller, Treinta Y Tres, Uruguay.


Aparicio's family with Candida Diaz

‌Aparicio and Candida were married in a religious ceremony on February 14th, 1878 in , Santa Clara, Treinta Y Tres, Uruguay.  They had six sons and a daughter, named Aparicio, Nepomuceno Honorato, Ramâon Monserrato, Villanueva ("Villa"), Mauro, Desiderio and Exaltaciâon.
