His paternal grandparents were Sancho IV "El Bravo" Alfonsez Rey De Castilla Y Leon and Maria Alfonsa De Molina Y Mesa; his maternal grandparents were 6º Rey De Portugal Y De Algarves Alfonso Diniz I "El Liberal" and Santa Isabel De Aragon "Pacificadora" De Portugal Reina De Portugal. He had two sisters named Constanza and Leonor. He died at the age of 39 in 1350.-
