William Taylor McLain

William Taylor was born on January 28th, 1821.  William Taylor's father was Hugh McLain and his mother was Elizabeth Nancy Morris.  His paternal grandfather was Unknown McLain; his maternal grandparents were John Morris and Mary Maxwell. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John Morris, Allen Boston, Hugh, George W., Mary Margaret Elizabeth, Martha and Nancy.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
