John Morris McLain

John Morris was born on November 11th, 1811.  John Morris' father was Hugh McLain and his mother was Elizabeth Nancy Morris.  His paternal grandfather was Unknown McLain; his maternal grandparents were John Morris and Mary Maxwell. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Allen Boston, William Taylor, Hugh, George W., Mary Margaret Elizabeth, Martha and Nancy.  He was the oldest of the eight children.
