Hugh McLain

Hugh was born in 1826.  Hugh's father was Hugh McLain and his mother was Elizabeth Nancy Morris.  His paternal grandfather was Unknown McLain; his maternal grandparents were John Morris and Mary Maxwell. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John Morris, Allen Boston, William Taylor, George W., Mary Margaret Elizabeth, Martha and Nancy.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
