Thomas Jefferson Markin

Thomas Jefferson was born on February 20th, 1840 in Blackford County, Indiana.¹   Thomas Jefferson's father was Thomas Markin and his mother was Francis Sumter.  His paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Christopher Richard, Oliver Hazard Perry, Mary, Lucinda D, Eliza and Sarah Ann.  He was the youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 77 on January 2nd, 1918 in Blackford County, Indiana.¹
