Sarah Ann Markin

Sarah Ann was born on March 9th, 1839 in Blackford County, Indiana.¹   Sarah Ann's father was Thomas Markin and her mother was Francis Sumter.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Christopher Richard, Oliver Hazard Perry, Thomas Jefferson, Mary, Lucinda D and Eliza.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 31 on October 4th, 1870.¹ 

‌Sarah Ann and Jacob were married in a religious ceremony on September 22nd, 1859 in Blackford County, Indiana.¹
