Luttitia Markin

Luttitia was born in 1847 in Ohio.¹   Luttitia's father was Daniel H. Markin and her mother was Margaret Sumpter.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard; her maternal grandparents were Richard Sumpter and Mary Kingery. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles M, Lorenzo Dow, Richard, Daniel, Martha, Lucianna and Elizabeth.  She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.

‌Luttitia and Elliot were married in a religious ceremony on February 28th, 1867 in Lawrence County, Ohio.¹   They had a daughter named Sarah M.
