George Vance Lusk 
George Vance was born about 1772 in Union District, South Carolina.1 George Vance's father was Robert Lusk and his mother was Mary Vance. His paternal grandparents were James Lusk and Jennett; his maternal grandfather was James Vance. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James Vance, Robert, Andrew, Thomas, John, Nancy Agnes, Mary, Jennett and Sarah. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died about 1853.1
