M. Sample

M. was born after 1836.¹   M.'s father was John Sample and his mother was Sallie Prewitt.  His maternal grandparents were Fields Pruitt and Mary Burke. He had five brothers and a sister, named James Monroe, John, Fields, Joseph, William and Sarah.  He was the youngest of the seven children.
