William Prather 
William was born about 1672 in Calvert Co., MD.1 William's father was Jonathan Prather and his mother was Lyle Jane Mackay. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Prater and Mary McKay Powell; his maternal grandfather was MacKay. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Jonathan, George, Thomas MacKay, John, Edward, Jane and Elizabeth. He died in 1748 in Prince George Co., MD.1 General Notes
