Francis Marion Powell 
Francis Marion was born on March 10th, 1839 in ,Callaway, Missouri.1 Francis Marion's father was James Henry POWELL and his mother was Sarah Ann MC DONALD. His paternal grandparents were Anthony POWELL and Elizabeth Miller; his maternal grandparents were Francis Marion MCDONALD and Sarah. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Anthony, Thomas Jefferson, James A., Charles H., Sarah E., Malinda Anne, Amanda Catherine, Martha Jane, Mary Elizabeth and Rebecca F. Sue. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 63 on July 17th, 1902 in ,Callaway, Mo. He was buried in Union Hill Cmty, Callaway, Mo.1 1 -
