Sarah W. Mattox 
Sarah W. was born on November 15th, 1829.1 Sarah W.'s father was Michael Mial Mattox and her mother was Ruth Byran. Her paternal grandparents were David Mattox and Sarah Perkins; her maternal grandparents were Reddin Bryan and Sheba Petty. She had five brothers and three sisters, named David, Redden B., Redden B., Wiliam J., John Calvin, Evaline, Mahaly and Mary C.. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 36 in May 1866 in Carroll Co. Arka.1 General Notes
