Michael Mial Mattox 
Michael Mial was born on July 28th, 1790 in Chatham NC.1 Michael Mial's father was David Mattox and his mother was Sarah Perkins. His paternal grandparents were John Mattox and Elizabeth Sherwood; his maternal grandparents were John Perkins and Rachael Ferguson. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Tarlton, William, John, Nancy and Mary. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 41 on December 29th, 1831 in Lincoln Co. Tn.1 -
