Elizabeth of Gloucester was born about 1095 in Of, Talby, Yorkshire, England.1 Elizabeth of Gloucester's father was Henry I Beauclerc and her mother was Sybilla CORBET. Her paternal grandparents were William I de and Matilda Maud de Flanders; her maternal grandfather was Robert Corbet. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Reginald (de Dunstanville), Sibyl and Gundred of England. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Richard, Herbert, Matilda, Euphemia of England, Matilda, Maud and Rohese.General Notes
