Edward Carter 
Edward was born in 1738 in Lancaster Co., VA.1 Edward's father was John Carter II and his mother was Elizabeth Hill Carter. His paternal grandparents were Robert King Carter and Judith Armistead; his maternal grandparents were Edward Hill and Elizabeth Williams. He had a brother and a sister, named Charles and Elizabeth Hill. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 54 on February 21st, 1792 in Spotsylvania Co, VA.1 General Notes
