John Carter 
John was born in 1613 in Newgate, Christ Church, London, ENG.1 John's father was John Carter and his mother was Bridget Benion Benyon. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Carter and Jone Hyll; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Benion Benyon and Isabel Hill. He had two brothers named Thomas and Robert. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had a half-sister named Sarah. He died at the age of 56 on June 10th, 1669 in Corotoman, Lancaster, VA. He was buried in Under the Chancel in Christ Church.1 1 General Notes
