Robert King Carter 
Robert King was born in 1663 in Lancaster County, VA.1 Robert King's father was John Carter and his mother was Sarah Ludlow. His paternal grandparents were John Carter and Bridget Benion Benyon; his maternal grandparents were Gabriel Ludlow and Bridget Benion Benyon. He had a sister named Betty Landon. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 69 on August 4th, 1732 in Lancaster County, VA. He was buried in Old Christ Church, Lancaster Co., VA.1 1 General Notes
