Adeliza de was born in 1069 in Tunbridge, Kent, England.1 Adeliza de's father was Richard FITZGILBERT and her mother was Rohese GIFFARD. Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert Brionne and Gundrada de Crpon; her maternal grandparents were Walter GIFFARD and Agnes Ermentrude FLEITEL. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Roger, Walter, Richard FitzRichard de, Robert FitzRichard de, Gilbert FitzRichard de, Rohese Fitzrichard de and Ronais Fitz. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died about 1138 in England.1 -
