Martha Venable

Martha was born in 1865 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Martha's father was Daniel Venable and her mother was Mary Lawson.  Her maternal grandparents were Martin Lawson and Nancy. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named John, William, George, James, Joseph, Andrew, Zora, Nancy, Catherine, Priscilla, Mary, Charity and Mary Margaret.  She was the second youngest of the fourteen children.
