John Vandeventer

John was born on May 16th, 1793 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   John's father was Abraham Vandeventer and his mother was Mary Jones.  His paternal grandparents were Isaac Vandeventer and Sarah Cowenhaven. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Peter, John, William, Jacob, Robert, Abraham, Charles Delham, Anna, Mary, Susan and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 62 on May 3rd, 1856 in Missouri.¹
