Henry Clay Tilson

Henry Clay was born in 1842 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Henry Clay's father was Henry Tilson and his mother was Adeline. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, William K., Jacob, Zacharias, Charles, Maria Elizabeth, Mary and Cynthia.  He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Rufus, Hugh F., Lilburn B., Horace J. and Alice.
