William Henry Thomas

William Henry was born on January 20th, 1818 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹   William Henry's father was George Thomas and his mother was Susan Strode.  His paternal grandparents were Moses Thomas and Elizabeth Whaley; his maternal grandfather was James Strode. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, Alfred B., George W. and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the five children.
