George W. Thomas

George W. was born in 1832 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹   George W.'s father was George Thomas and his mother was Susan Strode.  His paternal grandparents were Moses Thomas and Elizabeth Whaley; his maternal grandfather was James Strode. He had three brothers and a sister, named William Henry, James, Alfred B. and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died in ,,Oregon.¹
