Alsey Tackett

Alsey was born about 1797 in Lee Co., VA.¹   Alsey's father was Lewis Tackett and her mother was Susannah? Sumpter.  Her paternal grandfather was Francis? Tackett; her maternal grandfather was Edmund Sumpter. She had three brothers and three sisters, named George W., Lewis, John, Catherine, Mary "Polly" and Elizabeth.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.  She died after 1890.¹
