William Skelton 
William was born on March 12th, 1801 in ,Amherst, Virginia.1 William's father was John Skelton and his mother was Elizabeth Roberts. His paternal grandparents were Skelton and Ann; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Roberts and Elizabeth Clemmons. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Alexander, John, Thomas, James, Reuben, Abraham Carter, Nancy and Mary Elizabeth. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died after 1864 in Waco, Mclennan, Texas.1 -
