Joseph Skelton 
Joseph was born on August 14th, 1791 in ,Amherst, Virginia.1 Joseph's father was John Skelton and his mother was Elizabeth Roberts. His paternal grandparents were Skelton and Ann; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Roberts and Elizabeth Clemmons. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, John, William, Thomas, James, Reuben, Abraham Carter, Nancy and Mary Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at 6 months old on February 15th, 1792 in ,Amherst, Virginia.1 -
