Mary Simms 
Mary was born about 1704 in Charles County, Maryland.1 Mary's father was Anthony Semmes and her mother was Ann Sissons. Her paternal grandparents were Marmaduke Semmes and Fortune Watson; her maternal grandparents were Edward Sissons and Alice. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Marmaduke, Anthony, Electius, Fidelmus, Bertha and Jane. She was the second youngest of the seven children.-
