Jane Simms 
Jane was born about 1709 in Charles County, Maryland.1 Jane's father was Anthony Semmes and her mother was Ann Sissons. Her paternal grandparents were Marmaduke Semmes and Fortune Watson; her maternal grandparents were Edward Sissons and Alice. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Marmaduke, Anthony, Electius, Fidelmus, Bertha and Mary. She was the youngest of the seven children.-
