Loyd Cleveland Shipley

Loyd Cleveland was born in 1892 in Virginia.¹ Loyd Cleveland's father was Samuel Augustus Shipley and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Gilley. His paternal grandparents were John Childers Shipley and Nancy Martitia Green. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Napoleon Benjamin, Ballard Henry, John Childers, Garland David, Orena Bell and Martha. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 30 in 1922.¹
