John B. Seaver

John B. was born on September 1st, 1838 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   John B.'s father was Jeremiah Seaver and his mother was Nancy Thurman.  His paternal grandfather was Seaver; his maternal grandparents were William Thurman and Mary Dickenson. He had nine brothers and a sister, named William, Joseph, Henry Clinton, William Thurman, Wiley Hinton, Jeremiah Dickenson, William Fulton, George Curry, James Thomas and Nancy Susan.  He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Christopher, Campbell Walter, Ap Percell, Mary, Frances, Matilda, Margaret Elizabeth and Lillie Bell.  He died at the age of 23 on September 16th, 1861.¹
