James Thomas Seaver

James Thomas was born on January 27th, 1850 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ James Thomas' father was Jeremiah Seaver and his mother was Nancy Thurman. His paternal grandfather was Seaver; his maternal grandparents were William Thurman and Mary Dickenson. He had nine brothers and a sister, named William, Joseph, Henry Clinton, William Thurman, John B., Wiley Hinton, Jeremiah Dickenson, William Fulton, George Curry and Nancy Susan. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Christopher, Campbell Walter, Ap Percell, Mary, Frances, Matilda, Margaret Elizabeth and Lillie Bell.
