George Curry Seaver

George Curry was born on August 2nd, 1847 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   George Curry's father was Jeremiah Seaver and his mother was Nancy Thurman.  His paternal grandfather was Seaver; his maternal grandparents were William Thurman and Mary Dickenson. He had nine brothers and a sister, named William, Joseph, Henry Clinton, William Thurman, John B., Wiley Hinton, Jeremiah Dickenson, William Fulton, James Thomas and Nancy Susan.  He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Christopher, Campbell Walter, Ap Percell, Mary, Frances, Matilda, Margaret Elizabeth and Lillie Bell.  He died at the age of 88 in 1935.¹
