Martha Scism

Martha was born about 1855 in ,,Missouri.¹   Martha's father was Jesse D. Scism and her mother was Nancy Skelton.  Her paternal grandparents were William Scism and Elizabeth Duncan. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, James, John, Jesse, Samuel, Franklin, George, Ann, Elizabeth, Lucretia and Mary.  She was the youngest of the twelve children.
