William Monroe Payne 
William Monroe was born on October 2nd, 1871 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 William Monroe's father was William Latham Payne and his mother was Letha Whitson. His paternal grandparents were Payne and Abigail; his maternal grandparents were Enoch Whitson and Elizabeth White. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named James Madison, Clinton, Mack Mccarty, Christopher Columbus, George Washington, Isaac Garfield, Elijah Von, Sarah Elizabeth, Louise Kitzmiller, Mary Emeline, Nancy Jane, Margaret Ann and Allie Jane. He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 82 on March 31st, 1954 in Dallas, Dallas, Texas.1 -
