Christopher Columbus was born on March 7th, 1869 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Christopher Columbus' father was William Latham Payne and his mother was Letha Whitson. His paternal grandparents were Payne and Abigail; his maternal grandparents were Enoch Whitson and Elizabeth White. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named James Madison, Clinton, Mack Mccarty, William Monroe, George Washington, Isaac Garfield, Elijah Von, Sarah Elizabeth, Louise Kitzmiller, Mary Emeline, Nancy Jane, Margaret Ann and Allie Jane. He was the sixth youngest of the fourteen children. He died after 1940 in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon.1 -
