Rebecca Patterson 
Rebecca was born on October 7th, 1822 in Rutherford County, North Carolina.1 Rebecca's father was Mathew Patterson and her mother was Nancy (Young?). She had seven brothers and two sisters, named William, James, Benjamin Pierce, Robert, Warren Washington, Andrew J., Mathew, Eliz and Martha. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 39 on August 27th, 1862 in Tippah County, Mississippi (New Hope Ceme).1
