Lafayette Parvin

Lafayette was born in 1838 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Lafayette's father was Ephraim Parvin and his mother was Maria Carden. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Augustus, Christopher, Isaac, Joseph, Elizabeth, Jane, Sarah, Amanda, Margaret and Melvina.  He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry L., Orville and Margaret.
