Augustus Parvin

Augustus was born in 1823 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Augustus' father was Ephraim Parvin and his mother was Maria Carden. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Christopher, Isaac, Lafayette, Joseph, Elizabeth, Jane, Sarah, Amanda, Margaret and Melvina.  He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry L., Orville and Margaret.
