John Parvin

John was born in 1850 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ John's father was Augustus Parvin and his mother was Matilda Woods. His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Parvin and Maria Carden. He had five brothers and a sister, named George Washington, Hugh Henry, Clinton, Robert Lee, Charles and Mary. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
