George Washington Parvin

George Washington was born in 1848 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   George Washington's father was Augustus Parvin and his mother was Matilda Woods.  His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Parvin and Maria Carden. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, Hugh Henry, Clinton, Robert Lee, Charles and Mary.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
