Father pleaded for custody which was granted as part of5 years probation and after restitution was paid. He served in the US Navy during WWII and received many commendations. After the death of Lila, he became a committed christian. He was very ashamed of the early years of his life. Hewent to L.I.F.E. Bible school in Los Angeles, CA. and became a minister and pastor. The balance of his life was dedicated to helping youths (Life's Highway Ranch for Boys) and pastoring in several churches. He was a police chaplain in Azusa and committed most of his life to "making a difference." His early failures gave him keen insight into the nature of man and why redemption and grace are so necessary. He was loved and respected by his family and congregations for the man he became.@@S32@@
