Nels Elmer Nelson 
Nels Elmer was born on January 4th, 1894 in Trinidad, Las Animas CO.1 Nels Elmer's father was Andreas Solomon Nielsen and his mother was Hanna Trulson Johnson. His paternal grandfather was Nels Anderson or Andersen; his maternal grandparents were Jon Trulson and Johanna Olson. He had two brothers and a sister, named John Esbern, Ernest Lee and Una Maria. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 93 on November 9th, 1987 in Glendora CA. He was buried on November 13th, 1987 in Westminister CA.1 1 General Notes

Always a man of principal. Very consistant in his life
commitment to Jesus Christ. Was very dependable and commited to
his wife Elizabeth. He missed her andlived 19 years after her
death. He won numerious State and National awards for his
chickens, rabbits and pigeons (1927-1938). In Denver He owned a
small grocery store (Nelson's Red & White). During the
"Depression" Nels went broke extending credit to hungry
customers who could not repay him. 1940 does not show
employment
