William McCraw

William was born about 1805 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   William's father was Gabriel McCraw and his mother was Susannah Latham.  His paternal grandfather was William McCraw; his maternal grandparents were John Latham and Susannah Henderson. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Latham, Samuel, James, Minerva, Orlena, Eveline, Adeline E. and Susan Latham.  He was the oldest of the nine children.  He died after 1860.¹
