David Leander Mahaffey

David Leander was born in 1836.¹   David Leander's father was Samuel Mahaffey and his mother was Martha Jameson.  His paternal grandfather was Hugh Mahaffey; his maternal grandparents were John Jameson and Nancy Hayther. He had a brother and four sisters, named Samuel G., Mary, Nancy, Clarissa and Martha Jane.  He was the second youngest of the six children.
