Palestine Lawson

Palestine was born in 1833 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Palestine's father was Banks Lawson and his mother was Thersey Parvin.  His paternal grandfather was Lawson. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Clem, James, Pleasant, Curren, Ambrose, Eliza, Kay, Elizabeth, Amanda and Jane.  He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.
