Jane Lawson 
Jane was born in 1820 in Hawkins County, Tennessee.1 Jane's father was Moorman Lawson and her mother was Elvira Collins. Her paternal grandparents were Bartholomew Lawson and Susannah Simkins. She had three brothers and a sister, named Peter, Moorman, William Stokely and Phoebe Ellen. She had six half-brothers named David, Stokely, Hudson, Thomas, John and Ambrose.-
