Robert was born on February 11th, 1888 in ,,Ohio.1 Robert's father was Winfield Kent and his mother was Sarah Minerva Parsons. His maternal grandparents were Solomon Parsons and Amanda Cavanee. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Cleveland, Ariville and Lovina. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother named Henry.-
