Owen Holmes

Owen was born in 1762 in North Carolina.¹ Owen's father was Gabriel Holmes and his mother was Mary Cason. His paternal grandparents were John Holmes and Tamar Bird. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Lewis, Hardy, Gabriel, Ann, Penelope and Dorothy. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
